FSH_1199_aspect16x9Summer is here and so is the return of one of the most anticipated programs at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver –Kids in the City.  Celebrating kids, teens and the joy of family vacations is what the Hotel is all about.  From reduced rates to Saturday movie nights on the pool deck, dedicated play zones, junior chef tours and a super fun Kids Concierge – guests big and small are in for a treat.

This exclusive program extends a warm welcome to families everywhere with an offer for special overnight packages and outstanding family, outdoor and cultural activity options. Whether it’s hiking, biking, dining or exploring, the Hotel’s idyllic downtown location provides the perfect base for families eager to experience all that the dynamic West Coast has to offer.

With the Kids in the City program, youngsters are treated to exclusive amenities and engaging activity offerings while parents relax and unwind in their own room by reserving a secondary room for the kids at 30 percent off the daily best available rate. Kids ages 4-12 will enjoy access to the kid-focused Playzone.  Open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, the Playzone offers activities of all sorts including Playstation 3 games, Xbox, Wii, foosball, ping-pong and an air hockey table, as well as a new puppet theatre, craft table, and so much more.


High-energy Kids in the City Manager Sarah Ferguson returns to head up the daily kids programming, planning themed activities to keep kids engaged from 9:30 am every day.* The JR Chef and Kitchen Tour JR Chef and Kitchen Tour runs four mornings a week at 11:00 am, inviting kids and parents to a behind-the-scenes kitchen tour and hands-on treat creation in the Bake Shop.*

Movie buffs will love the kid-friendly movie nights on the fourth floor pool deck every Saturday at 8:30 pm, weather permitting.  Also returning is local artist Murray Phillips who leads the Art in the Lobby program that invites kids to drop in to the lobby and paint with him from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, Thursday through Saturday. Phillips will also offer private one-hour lessons on the hour from 2:00 through 5:00 pm.*

Guests travelling without the kids craving some exploration will enjoy the Drive Away Package, which provides the opportunity to adventure through Vancouver’s surroundings by car with convenient valet parking with in-and-out privileges.
