Last night at the Art House Hotel in Sydney, industry guests were given a taste of Africa as a part of Ynot Concepts inaugural Australian roadshow.

Representatives from African Bush Camps, Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, Lemala Camps and Lodges, Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve and Wild Horizons visited Australia for a series of networking and B2B events in Melbourne and Sydney this week.

Rob Gurr, Managing Director of Ynot Concepts said “This was a great opportunity for the Australian African travel specialists to find out first-hand the latest product information, trends and opportunities.

“These companies offer the very best in luxury lodges, camps and safari experiences from East to Southern Africa and they were able to meet with senior managers from wholesale companies out of their office environment at B2B workshops which proved to be extremely productive”.

Ynot also held networking events in Sydney and Melbourne to assist sales and reservation staff on how best to sell the destinations and products.

Aside from award winning luxury camps and lodges, the ‘Big Five’ have a common thread of being trailblazers in practices of sustainability, community engagement and conservation.

Individually they have been practicing sustainable tourism long before it became fashionable to do so.  Their businesses help empower local communities changing the lives of many and their efforts in conservation have kept natural environments in pristine condition and ensured endangered species will endure on this planet.
