Yonatan Kachko has been named General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. He was most recently Hotel Manager at the iconic Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, where he led an international team providing thoughtful, personalised service to the Hotel’s high profile guests from around the world.

Yonatan’s interest in hospitality, which later grew into his passion, started at an early age. He credits his parents for bringing him to wonderful hotels and resorts for their annual family vacations, which first exposed him to the marvels of the hotel industry.

Yonatan began his Four Seasons career at the Front Office of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto back in 2004. Over time, he subsequently moved into various managerial and senior managerial positions, from Guest Services all the way to Hotel Manager in Four Seasons properties including the exquisite Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru; the bucket-list Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Thailand; the glitzy Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip; the chic and stylish Four Seasons Hotel Seoul; and most recently the flagship Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong where under his leadership, the Hong Kong hotel brought home an unprecedented 8 Michelin stars, the most to be found in a single hotel, anywhere in the world.

“We are all deprived of time, rushing through life – hopefully Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta cab be that place where our guest can pause, and take the time to appreciate life and their loved ones,” says Yonatan. “With our stylish and artful property, including five exciting dining outlets, we will continue to be the place to go in this dynamic city.”

Yonatan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Field Of Study from HKUST Business School, Business Administration and Management, Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, curiously Four Seasons founder Isadore Sharp’s alma mater.

A man who enjoys triathlons and spending time with his wife and newborn daughter with equal ease, he looks forward to exploring the wonderful city of Jakarta and calling Indonesia home.
