YOTEL Singapore opened its doors to guests on 1 October 2017 in Orchard Road, offering 610 rooms known as ‘cabins’ across 30 floors. YOTEL provides a seamless and intuitive guest experience by integrating the elements of luxury hotels into smartly designed spaces. In giving guests everything they need and nothing they don’t, YOTEL Singapore offers a wide variety of cabins that are made to suit every traveller’s budget and needs.

YOTEL Singapore’s General Manager Brendan Daly commented: “We’re receiving fantastic feedback from our guests about the YOTEL concept. We believe that our cabins, inspired by first class travel, and the Club Lounge on ‘TEN’ will be in high demand by guests who are looking for something different with a touch of magic. In line with YOTEL’s tech-forward reputation, the experience is going to be enhanced a little further by the addition of new YOTELiers – our two robots!”

NEW 24/7 Robots to Join YOTEL Singapore’s crew

Two robots will soon be joining YOTEL Singapore’s crew. These robots are the first in the world to be  equipped with Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM) technology that enables them to navigate around the entire hotel autonomously. Some of the main features of the robots include, movable wheels, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, motion sensors and three compartments to store items as these are programmed to deliver items to multiple points at one go.

Guests can order additional amenities, including towels, water and hangers, to be delivered directly and securely to their cabin door. The robots seamlessly interface with the elevator and call the guest’s cabin on arrival at their door. Each robot is programmed to have its own unique voice and personality along with facial graphics. In addition to that, they are smartly engineered to speak and detect obstacles or human objects within their path.

By shortening delivery time, YOTEL robots are designed to enhance operational efficiency while helping to make the customer experience easier and more enjoyable.

NEW Affordable Luxury Option

From a Premium Queen Cabin to a VIP View Suite, YOTEL Singapore’s cabins are designed to be affordable while offering an experience that rivals luxury hotels. The cabins are equipped with signature YOTEL features such as the adjustable SmartBed™ with super comfortable Serta Gel cooled mattresses, a Technowall with smart TVs for easy connectivity to your own devices as well as Bluetooth and Miracast connection. Guests can also enjoy access to complimentary super-strength WiFi throughout the hotel. Room rates start from $164++ for a night’s stay in a Premium Queen Cabin.

With a Club Lounge on ‘TEN’, guests can enjoy spaces for co-working, informal meetings, and social gatherings. Facilities include a pool and terrace, and 24/7 gym, along with YOTEL Singapore’s Grains & Hops Restaurant and Bar. As led by experienced Chef Calvin Ow, Grains & Hops Restaurant and Bar offers nine varieties of rice bowls including meat, seafood, and vegetarian options. A curated selection of craft beers and signature cocktails are also on offer to complement the rich assortment of Asian rice bowls.

YOTEL Singapore’s Director of Operations Norman Cross described: “With rice bowls boasting flavours like grilled Angus beef to roasted Kurobuta pork collar, Grains & Hops Restaurant and Bar lets diners experience different parts of Asia. It’s a hearty experience that every diner will be more than satisfied with. Each rice bowl explodes in flavour when paired with YOTEL Singapore’s very own brew of craft beer.”
