In a first for home based agents in Australia, host agency Your Travel & Cruise is offering all its agents access to a live airfare, hotel and cruise booking portal as part of their membership package.

While agents already had access to live cruise bookings, Your Travel & Cruise has added an airfare and hotel booking tool for no added cost.

Your Travel & Cruise Managing Director Les Farrar said the addition of flight and hotel bookings provided agents with a unique advantage to help them grow their business.

“We’re the only Australian host agency that provides our agents with their own personalised website with built-in consumer booking tools and by adding flights and hotels to the mix, we’re offering even more value to our agents. Clients can now search, book and pay for cruises, flights and hotels through their preferred home based agent at any time of the day or night, with all bookings immediately directed to the agent. The best part is that it’s all included as part of the package,” Mr Farrar said.

All Your Travel & Cruise agents receive their own mobile and tablet compatible individually-branded website, which features the live B2C search and booking tool, created with industry leading technology and supported by a powerful CRM system.

The portal offers a comprehensive search of all the major airlines and hotels, more than 19,000 cruises, plus live pricing and real time booking capability.

“As one of Australia’s leading host agencies, we’re always looking for ways we can give our agents an edge and our live booking tool is a great leg-up for home based agents wanting to operate with the same professionalism and efficiency as a well-established travel agency,” Mr Farrar said.

In addition to the booking tool, agents have access to Agentmate which helps with everything from end-to-end booking management, marketing, customer and financial reports, capturing client information and workflow tracking including useful reminders such as payment due dates and when to send ‘welcome home’ emails.

As part of their membership, Your Travel & Cruise agents are also given access to a marketing program including EDMs, their choice of GDS system – Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus – and an intranet packed with knowledge and resources.
