Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket
It is against the background of the rich heritage of Phuket that Centara proudly introduces the latest addition to its growing portfolio of fine, luxury resorts – the Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket.
Amble along the Karon beach, by far the most beautiful of Phuket’s sandy beaches and you will stumble upon this impressive, newly-built, five star luxury property nestled in the far corner of the beach. It is uniquely situated directly on the edge of this stunning beach offering unparalleled seclusion and peacefulness.
Both striking in size and design, the resort echoes the character of the famous Sino-Portuguese architecture found in the heart of Old Phuket Town. The design comprising lengthy colonnades
and stucco moldings pays homage to a bygone age of burgeoning wealth and opulence that emerged during the booming tin mining era on the island.
The luxury accommodation comprises 262 guestrooms with 126 Deluxe Ocean Facing Rooms of which 36 are Premium Rooms, 45 Spa Deluxe Ocean Facing Rooms, 18 Premium Spa Deluxe Ocean Facing Rooms, 45 Deluxe Pool Suites and 18 Luxury Pool Suites. Villas comprise 6 One-Bed Pool Villas and 4 Two-Bed Pool Villas. All guestrooms have a balcony with a stunning sea view and the Spa Deluxe Ocean Rooms have jacuzzis on the balconies. Guests staying in the Villas, Pool Suites and Pool Premium rooms can enjoy club privileges, which include access to the Resort’s Club Lounge where snacks are served all day.
The resort boasts a wide variety of leisure facilities including four swimming pools, a tennis court, a waters ports centre, a fitness centre and Spa Cenvaree. The Spa has 10 single and double treatment rooms, offers Vichy treatments, steam rooms, a relaxation room and manicure/pedicure rooms.
The resort is also well equipped for families providing a children’s pool, a children’s playground and two playrooms; one for ages 3 to 9 years and one for 10 to 16 years. A lazy river is also a key Resort feature.
Dining options are available to suit all tastes. The Cove is an all-day dining restaurant situated on the beachfront. Open kitchens serve Asian and international melting-pot cuisine. It seats 250 guests within indoor and outdoor terraces.
Mare Italian Restaurant and Bar overlooks the beach and serves pasta and pizza in the day with classic Italian cuisine in the evenings. It has its own bar and wine cellar and seating is for 262 guests.
The Luna Bar is located above Mare and features a large outdoor terrace with lounge-style seating and indoor bar and lounge. The Luna caters for over 110 guests and serves light meals including Mediterranean and Asian Tapas.
The Beachcomber Beach Club is situated on the edge of the beach and the Splash Pool bar is located at the edge of the main pool. The Lobby Lounge and Bar has stunning ocean views.
In-room dining is available 24 hours a day.
Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket is fully equipped for meetings.
