New management for Alila Hotels & Resorts’ latest openings in Bangalore and Goa
Alila Hotels & Resorts has appointed a new management team for its growing Indian portfolio. Vikram Singh has taken the helm as Regional Director India as well as General Manager of Alila Diwa Goa, whilst Pranav Patel has been appointed General Manager of Alila Bangalore, the group’s first city opening in the country.
Vikram Singh brings nearly 20 years’ experience to the position gained at some of the world’s most prestigious hotels – from The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur to The Campton Place, a Taj Hotel in San Francisco. Previously VP Operations at Archipelago Hotels Resorts in Malaysia – whose portfolio includes The Datai, Langkawi – Vikram returns to his home country to oversee both Alila Diwa Goa and Alila’s expansion plans in India.
Pranav Patel takes the helm at Alila’s latest opening, the 101 room Alila Bangalore, which opened in the Whitefield district of the city last year. With over a decade in the industry, Pranav’s career has been truly global, with experience across three continents at leading hotel groups including Taj, Leela and Four Seasons. Pranav joins Alila from Archipelago Hotels and Resorts in Kuala Lumpur where he held the position of Complex Director of F&B for The Saujana.
Alila first expanded into India with the launch of Alila Diwa Goa in 2010, bringing its fresh new design hotel concept to southern Goa.
