The Travel Corporation appoints Margaret Soh as Vice President (Sales) for China

The Travel Corporation (www.thetravelcorporation.com) today announced the appointment of Ms Margaret Soh as Vice President, Sales, for China. Based in Shanghai, Ms Soh will be in charge of outbound sales from China for Trafalgar,

Insight Vacations, Contiki Holidays and Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection to all destinations they offer, Inspiring Journeys and AAT Kings in Australia, Thompson Holidays to Southern Africa and Red Carnation Hotels.

Margaret will be responsible for supporting and servicing agents in key cities of China and promoting the superb products of Insight Vacations, Trafalgar’s guided holidays, Contiki Holidays and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. She will work closely with The Travel Corporation team in Singapore.

Ms Soh has over 18 years of cross-functional experience in the travel industry and hospitality including business development, events and marketing. With the growing affluence of the outbound China market, Ms Soh’s appointment is timely as The Travel Corporation is strengthening its position in the industry with its “Look East for Growth” strategy.

Prior to joining The Travel Corporation Pte Ltd, Ms Soh was employed as Country Manager of Randall Marketing where she was responsible for developing new outbound accounts and servicing the existing key business accounts.

She was also responsible for driving partnership with banks, airlines and tourism bureau for sales and marketing.
