Dusit Thani Dubai has again confirmed itself as an employer of choice in Dubai’s hospitality industry with the recent addition of four UAE Nationals to its family.
The four new colleagues join the hotel’s three existing UAE Nationals, chosing to further their careers in various departments across the hotel, inclusive of Finance, Sales and Marketing and the Kitchen.
As part of the its IIP accreditation the hotel has been developing an advanced Emiratisation programme with the support of the DTCM, called the Sawasdee programme. This enhanced initiative, which has already been rolled out across the hotel, will assist UAE Nationals joining Dusit Thani Dubai with the development of their chosen careers, while allowing them to embrace the hotel’s distinct Thai culture.

Quotes from UAE National Colleagues.
Diana Jan, Account Specialist
“As we all understand the Thai culture they are one of the best in hospitality industry, secondly the iconic shape of the building makes a difference in the business district, as it is the heart of the city, convenient and accessible from all directions. Beside I have been recruited at the DTCM, while I was taking the ‘START’ hospitality course and I have been interviewed by all the local hotel chain groups. Among all these hotels I chose Dusit Thani Dubai because I found them really friendly and highly professional and also I would like to mention that IIP programe also attracted me for further development.”
Chef Saif Matar Abdullah Saif, UAE National Chef
“I chose Dusit Thani Dubai because I have been to other hotels and none of them are as friendly and family like. I was also intrigued by the Thai culture and wanted to learn more. I am working in the kitchen because I would like to have a wide experience in the culinary field and know how to prepare the different types of cuisines and hence be unique.”
Maryam Khalifa, Events Sales Executive:
“Dusit Thani Dubai is different from other hotels. It’s something new for me but I really like it, people are very friendly and supportive. The hotel industry is a place that I can learn and do more compared to other industries.”
