MSC Cruises Offers $1000 Off Air Fares To Europe

April 13, 2011 Hot Deals No Comments Print Print Email Email

Book a suite in MSC Cruises’ exclusive Yacht Club before the end of May and passengers will receive $1000 per couple towards the airfare to Europe.

The hot offer applies to a selection of Mediterranean cruises aboard MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida from September to December 2011, a luxury suite for a seven-night cruise priced from $2189 per person, twin share – a nudge more than $150 a night.

“With the Australian dollar remaining solid, the offer is just another bonus to travelling to Europe for a cruise holiday,” said Lynne Clarke, managing director of MSC Cruises Australia and New Zealand.

“The money saved makes such a luxury experience tantalisingly affordable, freeing up holiday cash for passengers to spend on shopping, shore excursions, spa treatments and other activities,” she said.

The MSC Yacht Club is an exclusive “ship within a ship”, a designated area for “the ultimate in cruising” aboard two of MSC Cruises’ 11-strong fleet, the equally luxurious and contemporary MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia, both named by MSC Cruises’ “god mother”, Italian actor Sophia Loren.

Before each cruise, MSC Yacht Club guests pass through an exclusive check-in with exclusive embarkation point on board.

Once on board, they are pampered with a 24-hour butler service and have access to a private Top Sail VIP lounge area at the bow of the ship. There’s also an exclusive pool, whirlpool and sun area with complimentary beverages in the lounge.

Complimentary dining in a specialty restaurant is also included in the fare along with a complimentary private mini bar which is restocked daily (selected items only).

A 24-hour concierge service for booking spa and personal activities is available along with the daily delivery of the guest’s favourite international newspaper. Private shore excursion transfers can also be arranged in each port.

The lead-in fare of $2189pp, twin share, which includes port charges, entertainment and meals, applies to the week-long pre-Christmas round cruise in a suite de luxe aboard MSC Splendida. The cruise sails from Genoa on December 17 and calls on Barcelona, Casablanca, Gibraltar and Marseille.

The $1000 per couple bonus not only applies to bookings for seven-night Mediterranean cruises. It can also apply to nine and 11-night cruises, priced from $2989pp person twin share and from $2909pp, twin share respectively. Other categories of suite on the ships include suite executive and suite royal.

MSC Cruises is the world’s leading cruise company in the Mediterranean, South African and Brazilian markets and operates across the globe. MSC Magnifica, the newest ship in the fleet, was launched in March 2010. The fleet cruises year-round in the Mediterranean and seasonally in Northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean, North America and Canada, South America, the Indian Ocean and South and West Africa. MSC Cruises is the only company in the world to receive the “6 Golden Pearls” award from the Bureau Veritas in recognition of its high level of quality management and environmental responsibility. MSC has also achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certification for the quality and food safety of all aspects of its catering, both onshore and onboard. MSC Cruises cares about the welfare of children, and as a responsible market leader believes in making a positive impact in the regions where it operates. To this end, the company recently formed a partnership with UNICEF to fund a community project aimed at providing disadvantaged children in Brazil with a quality education.
