The 30th of April proved to be another brilliant day at Travel Counsellors, with 2 of it’s agents reaching the prestigious GOLD status for the first time, adding to a growing list of agents that are now the top earners in the country!
Hayley Voll, from Brisbane, QLD worked tirelessly for the month of April knowing she had a very good chance of achieving the in-house accolade of becoming a GOLD Travel Counsellor, securing a large group booking, her biggest booking to date and her best month ever as a TC, which saw her cross the GOLDEN line! “I have really worked hard this past year, and now get to reap the rewards, the best part is being able to run a professional business and still get to do the school run and spend time with my two beautiful kids!” comments Hayley.
Also embracing the true work/life balance and celebrating achieving GOLD status for the first time is Patrick O’Shea from Colo Vale, NSW. After winning some key SME/MME corporate travel accounts, Patrick’s sales have sky rocketed over the last 6 months, seeing his business consistently go from strength to strength. “This is what I have been working towards since starting my own business with TC, and with the support of TC head office I was able to secure some great corporate clients.”
To achieve GOLD status, individual Travel Counsellors need to earn in excess of $120,000AUD in commission within a specific time frame. “It is not an easy achievement, and we have some amazing record breakers in Australia for how quickly they have got up and running to be earning such good incomes, and we have a large number of agents in our network that should also qualify in the next period which is reviewed in October” comments Tracy Parkinson, Business Development Manager.
Travel Counsellors Australia now have 7 agents from across the country that have achieved and hold GOLD status within the business, qualifying them to attend an all expenses paid special GOLD conference hosted by the company’s Chairman, Director’s and General Managers among other local celebrations in each country. This year the GOLD conference will be held in Mauritius on 20 May for 4 nights, and is a celebration of each individual business owner’s achievements. Travel Counsellors have in excess of 130 GOLD agents globally.
