Vale Kit Davis
It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing away of Kit Davis, last week, over the past 15 months Kit waged a very positive and determined campaign against a very aggressive cancer.
He was at home with all his family until early Sunday 10th when he went into Tea Gardens Manor – a local nursing care facility, where he was cared for with love and comfort until he died – and this is the way he wanted it. By the time he reached the facility he was unconscious.
Sadly, he lost that fight and at 8.20pm on Sunday 10th June 2012 he passed away.
There will be celebration of his life on Tuesday 19th June in the South Chapel at the Northern suburbs crematorium. You are all welcome to join us and participate.
This will not be a formal funeral but time fur us to reflect, recall, recount and remember events of Kit’s life.
After the Memorial we are gathering at the Royal Motor Yacht Club in Newport in the upstairs bar at 3pm and will raise our glasses to Kit.
