Abercrombie & Kent’s Night of Nights to mark 50 Fabulous Years in the Business
Over 150 guests including key customers, agents and suppliers gathered for a glittering soiree at Sydney’s Park Hyatt on Wednesday, 1 August to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of global luxury travel company, Abercrombie & Kent.
Veuve Clicquot champagne was flowing, while key A&K staff dazzled onlookers in stunning Calleija Jewellery. Quintessence designer candles flown in by Vendome from Paris especially for the event delighted guests in take home gift packs.
Founded in 1962 by Geoffrey Kent and his parents in Nairobi, Kenya. Abercrombie & Kent began as a small safari outfitter and is now a world-class luxury travel company. Ms Raman also paid tribute to A&K’s many and varied achievements accomplished over half a century and the way in which the company has redefined experiential travel around the world.
She was also delighted to present a spectacular – and entirely fitting – prize of a luxury African safari valued at $29,000 to one lucky guest. Christina Pfeiffer only purchased her raffle ticket moments before the prize was drawn and was astonished and delighted to be the recipient of such a fantastic holiday courtesy of A&K and Sanctuary Retreats. Fourteen other guests each received an original framed photograph by acclaimed photographer David Lazar, shot on location in Kenya.
