Palace On Wheels Tariff Starting From USD 390

The Indian luxury train Palace on Wheels tariff has been announced by the train managing authorities for its new season departures. The luxury travelers around the world can now relish an opulent ride of this deluxe train with just USD 390 on a per night basis.

In its weeklong train ride, this luxury rail covers some of the most sought after destinations in India that includes Delhi, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra.

The train is run by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) in collaboration with the IRCTC. The palace on wheels tariff will include all train travel charges, catering, sightseeing, entrance fee at monuments, parks and palaces, cultural program, camel ride at Jaisalmer, boat ride at Udaipur and rickshaw ride at Bharatpur. The train also offers wheelchairs and necessary assistance to physically challenged guests.

Along with the Palace on Wheels prices, the Terms & Conditions are also been made clear by the train management authorities. To offer the guests a more placid journey experience, some changes have been made in its terms and conditions. The children below the age of 5 years can opt for a tour to India onboard this train with just 10% of charge of the total cost of the journey. For children who come in the age group of 5 to 12, half of the ticket value will be charged.

Moreover, the authorities have also declared that for special festive moves like on Christmas and New Year, a surcharge of 10 % will be added on the total cost of the journey. A service tax of 3.09% is also applicable on the train tariff.
