Join Luke Nguyen Through China’s Yunnan Province

APT’s Vietnam Ambassador, celebrity chef Luke Nguyen has assisted create and will take part in an 11-day deluxe small group adventure in China’s southwest Yunnan Province next year.

It’s the region in which he filmed his TV series Luke Nguyen’s Greater Mekong.

APT has scheduled four departures of the 11-day Yunnan Adventure (from $4395 per person twin share) over the March to October season, with Nguyen escorting the March 11 departure over six days in the province.

APT is offering a companion fly free deal, including air taxes, if booked and deposited before October 31, 2012.

Luke Nguyen has shaped many features of this itinerary, including a Yiliang roast duck lunch and watching Xizhou’s trained cormorant birds fishing in the local river. On his escorted tour, passengers will also take part in a cooking demonstration in a local family home.

The Yunnan Adventure price includes travelling in a small group (maximum 28 passengers), luxury-class hotels, 25 meals, flights in China (Kunming to Dali, and Shangri-La to Chengdu), excursions, entertainment, tipping and airport transfers.
