There’s no better time to give skin a refreshing, cleansing and beauty-enhancing boost for the summer ahead. With this in mind, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, New York is delighted to launch its new facial technology that provides noticeable and lasting results.

With guests’ increased demand for anti-aging and result-intensive treatments, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental has developed facial treatmentsthat offer a variety of the most cutting-edge, non-invasive technology therapies available today including Micro-current, Ultrasound, and LED Light Therapy.

Micro-current technology re-educates tired facial muscles to lift and tone the skin like a non-invasive face lift and is often referred to as “Pilates for the Face.” Ultrasonic technology provides the benefits of an intensive facial exfoliation without the irritation common to a standard microdermabrasion treatment. Ultrasonic technology can also be used to deepen the penetration of facial products into the dermis for better hydration, vitamin infusion and/or anti-aging ingredients for more impactful, long lasting benefits. For a finishing touch, concentrated Red or Blue LED Light Therapies can be used to boost collagen production, help even out skin tone, fight acne or treat other common skin ailments. To determine the best technology for a guest’s skin type, estheticians conduct a consultation prior to beginning the facial to tailor the treatment to the guest’s specific needs. Each of these treatments is available on its own or in combination as a single treatment. A series of facials using the new technology is recommended to provide even more noticeable, long-lasting results and can be purchased at The Spa.

“We are excited to offer these new technologies to our guests which we believe produce incredible results in a non-invasive way,” said Heather Hannig, Director of The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, New York. “We want our guests to be delighted with the positive effects of these new offerings, as well as the very personalized nature of these facials, which are customized to suit specific needs.”
