Yoga Health Retreats Launches 11 Retreats in Bali in 2012
With over 10 successful years operating in Byron Bay, Australia’s beachside resort and holistic centre, the talented, inspirational and qualified senior yoga teacher Sue Hawkins is offering her expertise to the world weary and burnt out executives who are looking to off load their stress and recharge. Bali will pay host to eleven yoga health retreats with a further three in Byron Bay in 2012.
Bali is the perfect destination for guests to renew their sense of inner calm and harmony. The six day, five night retreats are set in the breathtaking setting of the Purnati resort, a spiritual haven situated in the heart of the Ubud countryside and the Kumara Sakti, a luxurious home to a Royal Balinese family overlooking the lush rice paddies in Ubud. The retreats provide guests with the chance to practice rejuvenating yoga based on Indian and Ayuvedic philosophy, experience deep inner healing meditation, be indulged with restorative treatments such as Reiki and Ayurvedic treatments and decadent and spoiling spa treatments such as lymphatic massages spa treatments. They also offer Reiki and Intuitive readings. After a week of inner and outer visualization, participants are left with their spirit uplifted and a renewed sense of calm and well-being.
The Yoga retreats focus on healing and pampering and participants of all levels of experience are welcome. Up to 16 guests are treated to the expertise and guidance of Sue, who treats each person individually and personally guides them to an enlightening yogic experience. Hand picked facilitators offer Yoga assistance, guided chakra visualization, Pilates, body toning, chanting, yoga nidra, spa treatments, Ayurveda treatments (remedial, kahuna and lymphatic massages, colonic hydrotherapy and naturopathic consultations are offered in the Byron Bay retreats). The food at the Bali Purnati Retreat is lovingly prepared by ex Bali Hyatt chef Pak Pujo, and for those with flowing creative juices, Pak Pujo offers a culinary learning experience.
Not only are guests taken on a journey of inner self discovery and awareness but being situated in the cultural heart of Bali, they are offered a visual tour through the stunning countryside, many beautiful art galleries, temples, taking part in ceremonies and blessings, and shopping trips through the bustling and thronging traditional markets of Ubud.
“Retreats are becoming increasing popular in today’s society, where stresses of work, worries of recession and competitive lifestyles all add to an unbalanced existence. Our healing vacations offer guests a journey of self-discovery and a much needed break from the fast flowing world we are living in. We aim to provide them with essential tools to help cope with everyday demands.” Comments Sue.
Sue further offers an insight into her retreats, “At times a retreat is a journey to the heart of quiet, at other times it is a spontaneous feeling of inner joy or a sense of profound connectedness. Our experience and understanding of the energy systems of the body provide a unique opportunity to develop and maintain focus, clarity, joy and peace; reduce physical symptoms and restore you to your natural state of balance and harmony. The effects are often felt for months after retreats finish. It gives all of us at Yoga Health Retreats great joy to see the positive changes in each individual at the completion retreats.”
