Today, TripIt, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app, launched new health and safety options within its Nearby Places feature, making it easy for travelers to search for nearby hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies close to where they’re staying should they need medical help.

There’s a lot of uncertainty tied to travel in today’s climate. A recent study found 30 percent of global business travelers expect to feel anxiety during their next trip, and 65 percent placed personal health and safety in their top three considerations when returning to travel.

Travelers already have enough to worry about, which is why TripIt has made several new enhancements to help travelers make the most informed decisions for their trips:

Traveler Resource Center: Online resource that provides public health and safety advisories, booking cancellation and travel policies, and more to help travelers make the best decisions for their next trip.

Neighborhood Safety Scores: Safety feature that scores neighborhoods from 1 to 100, representing low to high risk, including a Health and Medical score that factors in COVID-19 data.
Newly Redesigned Point Tracker: The Point Tracker in TripIt Pro — TripIt’s premium membership — has been redesigned with an improved view of traveler point balances, history, and expiration dates to help users stay on top of their rewards programs in a rapidly changing environment.
