The Air New Zealand Cook Islands Tourism Awards are a much-anticipated biennial event organized by Tourism Industry Council to celebrate those companies and organisations that exemplify high standards across 150 tourism businesses in the Cook Islands and recognise excellence of companies and individuals within the industry, and include significant achievements in the community or environmental management.
While 2020 has had significant challenges, the staff and management of Pacific Resort Hotel Group (PRHG) have ended the year with the uplifting news that they are big winners at the recent Air New Zealand Cook Islands Tourism Awards, taking out two of the business award categories and two of the special awards.
The categories PRHG are proud to have been recognised in are as follows:
Overall Business Award of Excellence – Pacific Resort Aitutaki.
Family Friendly Award of Excellence – Pacific Resort Rarotonga.
Marketing Award of Excellence – Pacific Resort Rarotonga.
Social Media Award of Excellence – Little Polynesian Resort.
Reflecting on these accolades, PRHG CEO Marcus Niszow said “Our entire team work tirelessly to help make our resorts more than just a place to stay and to provide a truly memorable guest experience. This wonderful recognition provides a much-needed morale boost for our team who, like many others around the globe, have been hit hard by the COVID crisis. These awards are further evidence that Pacific Resort Hotel Group is, and will remain, a leader in South Pacific hospitality, as the Cook Islands premium independent collection of luxury and boutique beachfront resorts.
