The Hotel, which opened its doors in July 2018, has enjoyed a prime place on the red carpet all through 2019, sweeping awards for everything from its stellar design and spa treatments to its outstanding dining and drinking experiences.
The season of recognition began at AHEAD (Awards for Hospitality Experience and Design) Asia, with Bar Trigona and Yun House winning for Best Design in their individual categories. The creative interiors of both outlets took centre stage again later in the year, receiving plaudits at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

In May 2019, the cocktail jury confirmed what many connoisseurs already knew – that Bar Trigona was a very special addition to Asia’s exciting mixology scene. Along with joining the elite ranks of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2019, Bar Trigona was honoured with the Ketel One Sustainability Award for its local, minimum-waste approach, led by Head Bartender Ashish Sharma. The accolades continued to pour in through the year, including one of the Best New Cocktail Bars (Asia-Pacific) by Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and three coveted awards at the Bar Awards Kuala Lumpur and Penang (Bar of the Year, Hotel Bar of the Year and Creative Cocktail Bar of the Year).
The end of the year has brought one final culinary highlight, with Malaysia Tatler’s T.Dining naming Curate as one of the Top 20 Restaurants in Malaysia. The listing makes a special note of the restaurant’s vast selection of fresh seafood as well as its lively Sunday Bubbly Brunch.
Apart from dining, the Hotel’s superb wellness facilities and treatments have enjoyed their time in the spotlight. Selected as Malaysia’s Best Hotel Spa at the renowned World Spa Awards, the Spa at Four Seasons also won laurels for its signature Sports & Remedial Massage at the Cleo Beauty Star Awards.
Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur received top honours from leading industry platforms, taking home the prize for Best Hotel Development in Asia at the Asia Property Awards Grand Final 2019, as well as for Top Asia Hotel Opening at Luxury Travel Advisor’s Awards of Excellence.
