Australia and New Zealand guided holiday experts, AAT Kings, together with The Travel Corporation’s non-for-profit organization, The TreadRight Foundation are committed to the preservation of Australian Wildlife.

In Australia, AAT Kings have an ongoing partnership agreement with the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, with the intent of raising awareness towards the rehabilitation and conservation of our flora and fauna. AAT Kings  continue to fund world class Koala care at Australia Zoo’s Wildlife Hospital, ensuring every guest that passes through has the chance to contribute to the Koala Rehabilitation Project and show their support towards the preservation of our native creatures.

Guests travelling to Brisbane have the opportunity to visit Australia Zoo on the East Coast Islands and Rainforest thirteen-day guided holiday. The zoo has a team of over  500 who believe in conservation through exciting education, and they will ensure travellers will have a wildlife experience they will never forget. Guests can visit the Wildlife Hospital and understand the work going on behind the scenes to help rehabilitate and care for injured and orphaned koalas in addition to other animals. The Wildlife Hospital is the largest and busiest facility of its kind in the world, treating 800 koalas each year right in our own backyard.

In New Zealand, AAT Kings support the Rainbow Springs Kiwi Conservation, committed to the conservation of New Zealand’s endangered native icon. The project has a huge impact in maintaining the livelihood of Kiwi’s in New Zealand with 76% of North Island Kiwi’s and 56% of all Kiwi’s being incubated at the hatchery.  Guests travelling to New Zealand’s North Island can visit Rainbow Springs on the nine-day Contrasts of New Zealand guided holiday.

Across Australia and New Zealand AAT Kings is proud to support a number of important projects with a focus on wildlife conservation. AAT Kings will continue to provide donation to projects that encourage global sustainable tourism, caring for our native species that are cherished by travellers from all around the world.
