Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has confirmed its recently appointed Global Chair Adam Goldstein will be among key speakers at this year’s Cruise360 Australasia conference, the industry’s peak annual forum for sharing ideas, knowledge and visions for the future.

Mr Goldstein, the Vice Chairman of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, will visit Sydney to join a full-day line-up of expert speakers and panel sessions on Friday August 30.

“Adam Goldstein is one of the giants of the international cruise industry and has been a key figure at Royal Caribbean for more than 30 years,” said CLIA Australasia Managing Director Joel Katz. “His experience and insight into the evolution of the global cruise sector makes him an incredible asset to CLIA and his address at Cruise360 will be an unmissable opportunity for our region’s cruise community.”

Mr Goldstein took up the role of Global Chair for CLIA in January, having previously served as Chair in 2015 and 2016. He has been the Vice Chairman of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd since May 2018 and has had past roles at the group including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

To be held at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, this year’s Cruise360 conference will be the sixth staged in Australasia. It will include a trade show for cruise industry exhibitors on August 30 as well as the opportunity to join a ship inspection aboard Princess Cruises’ Sea Princess on August 29. Further details on this year’s line-up will be announced in coming months.

Last year’s Cruise360 conference was a sell-out success, attracting a total of 580 cruise industry figures including a record 75 New Zealand delegates.
