Award-winning tailor-made specialist, Adventure World Travel has officially announced the launch of its new tailor-made Scandinavia, Russia and the Baltics portfolio.

The Scandinavia collection will be the first of the range to be released in late November, with Russia and the Baltics available in mid-2020. The Adventure World Travel team have been preparing the Scandinavia portfolio over the past five months but brought forward the release due to demand from agents following the recent Bentours collapse.

Neil Rodgers, Managing Director of Adventure World Travel commented: “We made the decision in early 2019 that these countries were a natural progression for the Adventure World Travel brand and complement our three product pillars of Wildlife & Wilderness, Culture & Heritage, and active adventures. To launch a new product line is not an overnight process for us, as we personally inspect each of the products that we offer, and extensive training is required to ensure we do not compromise our high levels of expertise and product knowledge.”

The portfolio will launch with the most popular itineraries in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and Greenland in late-November. Exceptionally strong product commercials in Scandinavia have been leveraged through the buying power of parent company The Travel Corporation [TTC]. In addition to its tailor-made offering, the collection will also showcase the brand’s exclusive small group journey GSAs, such as Explore Worldwide’s boutique Yurt accommodation in Iceland and Natural Habitat’s luxury Greenland basecamp.

In the ocean expedition category, Adventure World Travel will continue its existing exclusive partnership with Lindblad Expeditions – National Geographic, and was delighted to announce recently its new strategic partnership with Hurtigruten that enables the brand to incorporate Hurtigruten voyages including; the Original Coastal Voyage; new Norway Cruises; plus core land-based excursions and tours such as “Norway in a Nutshell” and “Follow the Lights” in their bespoke itineraries.

Neil continues, “For 40 years Adventure World Travel has been committed to the trade, and with our extensive network of preferred agreements with consortia partners we have privileged access to agents who keep us informed on how best to serve and exceed their needs in a changing market. With this new collection, agents can expect the same high level of service, diverse range, and first-hand expertise as they would with our classic collections. In this time of unease, it is important for agents to know that they are buying from a secure and stable partner, and nowhere is that greater than The Travel Corporation [TTC] family of brands, who will be celebrating a centenary of success in 2020.”
