Africareps is delighted to announce that we have been appointed as the Australian and New Zealand representative for four of African Sun Hotels’ best known establishments in Zimbabwe:

The Kingdom
Enter   the    legendary    world    of   The   Kingdom    at   Victoria    Falls, a   modern    tribute   to   Africa’s    ancient allure. Built around a man-made lake, the 294 bedrooms create an impression of   having been built on an island. The Kingdom’s crested domes and pillars bridge the hazy divide between comfortable reality and extravagant fantasy.
The distinctive architectural design is based on the Great Zimbabwe monument in Masvingo and gives you a unique feel and atmosphere.  With food court, bars, shops and one of Zimbabwe’s finest and most attractive casinos, The Kingdom at Victoria Falls has it all and is the nearest hotel to the mighty Victoria Falls. The Kingdom also offers The Kings Club rooms. Please see the attachment for details.

Elephant Hills Resort
Perched on the bluff just upstream from the mighty Victoria Falls, Elephant Hills Resort looks down on the placid might of the upper Zambezi River. Only five minutes’ drive from the Falls, this stunning hotel has extensive conference facilities and offers a wide range of entertainment and sports including the only 18-hole championship golf course in the Victoria Falls area. Located 27km from Victoria Falls International Airport this hotel is 4km away from Victoria Falls and 3 km away from Victoria Falls town centre.

Hwange Safari Lodge
Hwange Safari Lodge is contiguous to the world-renowned Hwange National Park and is located in its own extensive private conservancy.
The lodge is a comfortable 2.5-hour drive from Victoria Falls. Home to the world’s largest population of elephants, including the Presidential Herd, Hwange boasts an abundance of other wildlife including rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard and a host of other species. The prolific birdlife is a must see for the birding enthusiast with one of the world’s most diverse population of raptors.

Caribbea Resort – Lake Kariba
Located in the resort town of Kariba, home to Africa’s third largest man-made lake, this 83- bedroomed resort is the ideal base from which to explore a unique part of Zimbabwe, or just enjoy a sun-filled holiday in relaxed comfort. The hotel is built in distinct Sardinian architecture, and deliberately fashioned with a Mediterranean coastal ambience. Caribbea Bay Resort affords guests the opportunity of watching the sunset over the majestic Lake Kariba during a relaxing sundowner cruise and a visit to the awe-inspiring Kariba dam wall and hydro-electric power station.

Each of these resorts is currently undergoing major upgrading and refurbishment. Significantly, all over-bath showers will be removed and replaced with walk-in showers.

These are well priced establishments perfect for the traveller looking for excellent value. I have attached the 2020 rack rates.

I visited all these resorts personally in December and can answer any questions you may have. I have attached a selection of photos I took when I was there.
