Travel agents gathered this week to attend Treasures of the South Pacific, a series of events designed to educate and inspire Australian travel agents about the variety of tourism product and experiences available across the South Pacific.

Fiji Airways and Pacific Trade Invest, Australia helped sponsor the events, hosting over 40 travel agents in Newcastle on Tuesday 01 October August, and over 100 travel agents in Sydney the following evening.

Agents were inspired by the culture, nature, creativity and adventurous spirit that the South Pacific has to offer as they gained knowledge and insights from tourism office representatives including the Cook Islands, Fiji, Norfolk Island, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tahiti, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and the Hidden Treasures of the Pacific.
