Spread the love

With Mother’s Day set to look different this year for Kiwi Mums, music legend and friend of Air New Zealand Ronan Keating has offered to share some virtual love this Mother’s Day.

The airline tipped off Ronan Keating about some superfan Mums around New Zealand who would be spending this Mother’s Day without their loved ones. The Irish singer generously recorded personalised messages to each of these Mums to make them feel extra special this weekend.

Air New Zealand’s friendship with Ronan Keating dates back to 2016 when he performed the airline’s Christmas song Summer Wonderland, alongside Kiwi star Julian Dennison. Since then, the singer has held a soft spot for Kiwis and says he’s only more than happy to spread some joy at this difficult time.

“There are so many Kiwi Mums out there who won’t be able to spend their Mother’s Day with their kids this year, so it’s great to be working with Air New Zealand again to bring some joy to New Zealand families!”

General Manager Global Brand and Content Marketing Jodi Williams says it’s a privilege to have Ronan back on board to make this Mother’s Day a little more special for Kiwi Mums.

“A huge thanks to Ronan and his team at Universal Music for reaching out to us to offer this thoughtful, once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s been a tough few weeks for mother figures all around New Zealand and I know this will bring pure joy and excitement to them on their day.”
