Spread the love

Sheraton Melbourne Hotel pays a surprise visit to residential aged care home Mercy Place East Melbourne to spread festive cheer with their Christmas afternoon tea.

Christmas means being surrounded by the ones you love and indulging with plenty of food, carols and laughter. With Christmas Day just around the corner, the team at Sheraton Melbourne Hotel paid a visit to the residents at Mercy Place East Melbourne in order to deliver a sweet surprise.

Some of the residents were treated to the hotel’s Parisian afternoon tea with a festive twist. There was plenty of tea, Christmas tunes, laugher and chatter between the residents and staff members from the hotel.

“After offering our Parisian afternoon tea during Victorian Senior’s week in October we wanted to do a little more and surprise the residents at the Mercy Place East Melbourne many of whom wouldn’t have been able to visit us at the hotel” says Peter Mintasis, General Manager Sheraton Melbourne Hotel.

Mercy Place East Melbourne is described as a cosy but also cosmopolitan, bright and modern aged care home, proud in building relationships with its residents in order to provide personal and individual care.
