Pacific Resort Aitutaki presents an evening with celebrity New Zealand chef Al Brown. The exclusive event is due to take place Friday 22nd November 2019 on site the 5-star luxury resort, and will include a casual cocktail reception, along with dinner designed and prepared by guest-chef Al Brown, while enjoying the warm atmosphere and extravagance of Pacific Resort Aitutaki.
Perhaps the most quintessential ‘Kiwi’ chef; Al Brown who is also a TV presenter, writer and restaurant owner, is one of the best known faces of New Zealand cuisine.
Redefining New Zealand’s culinary identity with his eatery Depot and its refined local fare, Brown is teaming up with the Pacific Resort Culinary team lead by Parisian chef, Jean Pierre Boulot; who formerly headed the kitchen at Tahiti’s world famous “The Brando”.
With their backgrounds in fine dining, Brown and Boulot bring their combined gastronomic expertise and their love for food to this exclusive event. Appreciating ‘simplicity’ in their eating experiences, Boulot explains that “less is more” and while Brown says he enjoys eating just about anything, most of all, he savours “simple food cooked perfectly.”
Al Brown
Al’s passion for hunting and fishing has seen him track some of New Zealand’s finest wild food to produce dishes of game and seasonal delicacies. With some patience and a bit of luck, Al hopes to personally catch and prepare some of Aitutaki’s best local seafood for this special evening.
Tickets to the limited-seating event are $125 per person; guests can also book a special Al Brown package to stay at Pacific Resort Aitutaki which includes five nights accommodation and two complimentary tickets to the culinary experience.
