Building on the success of the current Manohra Dream cruise, Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort is expanding its fleet with the construction of an even more luxurious vessel, the Manohra River Song, to target high-end travellers. With an investment of THB 50 million, the cruise is expected to roll out by the end of the year.

Mr. Mark O’Sullivan, Complex General Manager, Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort and Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel, says, “We have invested more than THB 50 million in this luxury private cruise ship, the Manohra River Song. We believe that our new cruise will interest high-end Thai and foreign travellers who seek cultural experiences and exclusivity. The vessel will be the most luxurious in the destination, helping us activate the waterfront of the Chao Phraya, and hopefully drawing increased economic activity to the area”.

The Manohra River Song will sail to both Ayutthaya and Pattaya, stopping at some of the kingdom’s most iconic sites. As part of the Anantara experience, the cruise will connect travellers to genuine places, people, stories and local cuisine through personalised experiences.

Adopting the same modern Thai aesthetic of the Manohra Dream, the teak vessel boasts an open-air deck with living and dining area, four ensuite staterooms that sleep up to 12 guests, and separate crew quarters below. Journeys are all inclusive, with a personal chef on board serving gourmet meals and daily afternoon tea.

Construction of the Manohra River Song was recently completed, with a traditional Brahmin blessing ceremony taking place. Celebrations were led by William E. Heinecke, founder and Chairman of Minor International Public Co., Ltd, as well as Katie Heinecke, with a traditional breaking of Champagne over the bow at the shipyard in Pathum Thani.
