andBeyond Launches Virtual Travel Experiences to Fund Conservation

Building on the success of their live streaming game drives, conservation-led luxury travel company andBeyond has extended its range of virtual safari and travel offerings to help fund conservation initiatives at the reserves that they manage, while keeping the dream of travel alive.

Encouraged by the positive response received from andBeyond’s WILDwatch Live Stream Safaris, the brand has now launched andBeyond Connect, a range of virtual experiences aimed at giving their audience a taste of travel without the need to leave their living room.

While most of the offerings are available on a complimentary basis, the private online experiences offer a greater level of personalisation, with a percentage of the profits dedicated to conservation. The range of offerings includes:

andBeyond TV: A weekly selection of live and recorded programmes

From andBeyond’s popular twice-daily, three-hour WILDwatch Live Streams to brand new WILDChild TV: Becoming a Ranger series specially designed for children, these programmes will keep you and your young ones entertained through the day. There is also the option of booking live Q&A sessions aimed specifically at children, for the inquisitive young ones to have all their questions answered.

Virtual Experiences: Private online experiences hosted by andBeyond guides

Book a private Zoom session with an andBeyond guide to share amongst six friends/family. You’ll get to learn more about the animals seen on the live streamed drives and reconnect with your favourite guides virtually – all whilst making a contribution towards essential conservation efforts (10% of the fee goes towards Africa Foundation, and the remainder split between habitat maintenance, sustainability and conservation initiatives, and the guides). Live cooking and cocktail demonstrations, as well as yoga and meditation sessions are also planned in the pipeline.

Bateleur Magazine: A travel-inspired digital magazine

With the print issue of this magazine available to in-lodge guests once travel resumes, the brand is now bringing these carefully curated and experientially narrated stories to armchair travellers by way of a dynamic digital version.

andBeyond Fireside Chats: A podcast channel with four themed shows

The best stories take place around a campfire. In true andBeyond style, andBeyond is offering a selection of four themed podcasts ranging from conversations about wildlife and conservation, to design and photography. These chats are now available via Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify.
