First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to bid a fond farewell to Tracy Bamber, and thank her for many years of dedicated service, passion and commitment to Wilderness Safaris. Although she will be missed, she leaves us with a world-class team in place, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

To ensure that Wilderness Safaris is able to continue to give you, our valued trade partners and friends, the service and strategic support required to not only endure the current challenges that we’re facing, but to emerge stronger together, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Simon Stobbs to Chief Sales Officer, with immediate effect.

As you may know, Simon has an unparalleled passion for conservation tourism, with over 18 years’ experience in the industry. With the last five years spent successfully driving our North American sales as a Business Unit Manager, coupled with his early days as a private guide and his experience running his own tour operating business, we are confident that he is well placed to lead our already strong sales team to even greater heights.

In addition, as our business looks at ways to grow into new geographical areas of operation and to increase our positive conservation footprint into the future, I am thrilled that Dave Bennett will be taking on a stronger operations role, and that Hadley Allen, our Chief Commercial Officer, will now oversee our sales and marketing teams.
