Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited (Nasdaq: MLCO), a developer, owner and operator of casino gaming and entertainment resort facilities in Asia, is committed to giving back to the community it serves. In collaboration with the Macau Blood Transfusion Services Center (CTS), the company’s annual blood donation event for employees took place at various times during August 2 through August 10 at all three of Melco’s major properties; including City of Dreams, Studio City and Altira Macau, with blood donation areas set up at each venue. This year, over 220 employees successfully donated blood, and participating colleagues expressed their contentedness for the opportunity to donate to this worthy cause with a small gesture as giving blood.
Dr. Crystal Hui, Consultant Hematologist and Director of the Macau Blood Transfusion Services Center, said, “CTS is celebrating its 30th year since its establishment. With thanks to the generous support from members of the public, institutions and groups over the years, CTS continues to provide an ample supply of blood for Macau’s patients in need.”
