This month’s Asian Club Managers Conference (ACMC) will act as a platform for Jonas Club Software to introduce its products to the region.

Organised by the Club Managers’ Association of Singapore (CMAS) in collaboration with the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF), the three-day gathering (August 26-28) will focus on the topic of 10x Your Club in the Age of Disruption.

More than 200 delegates from around the region are expected to attend the event at the Shaw Foundation Alumni House.

As well as being among the sponsors for the 12th edition of the conference, Peter Kirk, General Manager, Jonas Software International, will be in attendance.

One of the world’s best-known providers of software to the club industry, Jonas Club Software is a Canadian-based company. Currently, clubs in almost 20 countries across the world, with memberships ranging from 100 to 20,000, utilise Jonas Club Software ‘to build and enrich member relationships, increase revenues, and decrease costs’.

Trevor Coughlan, Director, Marketing & Product Management with Jonas Club Software, said: “This is the first time we’ve had an involvement with the Asian Club Managers Conference.

“Jonas Club Software is a relatively new entrant into the Asian market, having solidified its place as the market leader throughout North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa. With more than 2,300 private members’ clubs currently using the company’s technology, Jonas Club Software is now poised to make a splash in the Asian market.”

On joining the Asian Golf Industry Federation last year, Alan Threadgold CCM, Vice-President of Operations with Jonas Club Software, said: “While we are new to the Asian club market, we bring with us more than 20 years of club industry experience throughout the world.

“We are confident that the innovative technology we have developed, thanks to input from our clients throughout the world, will present a compelling new option to the Asian market.

“Entering any new market presents unique challenges, which is why joining the AGIF was an obvious first step. It is our hope that over the coming months and years we become a valued partner of clubs throughout Asia, and a trusted contributor of education and insights to the industry as a whole.”
