While COVID-19 continues to bring airlines and our eco-system unseen challenges, it has also prompted the development of fresh ideas as we adapt to our new reality. Since the start of the pandemic, ATPCO has introduced new solutions to support the industry, including Emergency Flexibility and Reassurance UPAs. But the organization is not stopping there.

The new realities facing revenue management and airline pricing teams are different than imagined when we began 2020. ATPCO has just released new capabilities — called Rapid Fare Update — to help each airline manage fares in the market more effectively. The capabilities help each airline easily query markets, update fares, and release them to the market in one intuitive workflow. Previously, to complete these tasks, airlines would have to manually manage their pricing through spreadsheets or have extensive training on multiple ATPCO applications (all run on legacy technology).

The new capabilities are free for ATPCO’s current airline customers using its FareManager system. It streamlines the workflow, allowing analysts who are new to FareManager or those with minimal ATPCO product knowledge to get up and running quickly. It also offers more transparency of user roles and tracking of fare updates.
