NDC (New Distribution Capability) content from airlines currently not available via GDS (Global Distribution System) channels is now available through ATPI Ticket Window, ATPI’s  proprietary fare aggregation system.http://www.tourismlegal.com.au/

ATPI Ticket Window sources fares and availability from around the world and delivers a consolidated view to ATPI agent desktops. The system ensures that agents can book the best possible fare, even if it is only available on a non-GDS platform or in one particular country.

The new enhancement to ATPI Ticket Window now enables NDC content not available through the GDS – special fares available through airline’s own NDC channels, in addition to the content from existing APIs with partners and low cost carriers. The investment ensures that ATPI’s travel consultants continue to have a seamless fare sourcing and booking experience with access to all the best fare categories available, including those that are exclusive to the NDC channel.

Andrew Waller, CEO, ATPI Group explains:

“Content fragmentation is a challenge that we have continuously innovated to find ways around. NDC is no different. We cannot rely wholly on future GDS NDC solutions and they are still some way off. Our investment in market-leading technology tools and partnerships means that we are able to embrace NDC now, as an opportunity on behalf of our clients”.

This is the latest ATPI technology release following the TMC’s global alliance with NDC certified Serko and its new market leading booking tool Zeno, which already provides integrated NDC content and capability. ATPI is licensed to offer Zeno to new and existing customers in more than 50 countries for the next 5 years.

ATPI’s commitment is to provide full content choice and availability for its clients. As with other TMCs, supplementary fees may apply where NDC fares are sourced and booked outside the traditional GDS booking channel, necessitating additional workarounds.
