Today marks Celebrity Solstice’s final call to Sydney for the summer season before she departs for her repositioning cruise to Hawaii via New Zealand and French Polynesia, after what has been another extraordinary season down under for Celebrity Cruises.

During her seventh season in Australia, Solstice undertook sixteen local cruises, calling at 37 ports in 11 countries. Itineraries ranged from nine to 19 nights with departures from Sydney, Auckland, Fremantle and Honolulu.

Highlights included:

  • Maiden calls at four new South Pacific destinations in Tonga, Samoa and American Samoa
  • New roundtrip itinerary from Auckland, NZ
  • Overnight calls in Hobart and Tauranga

Celebrity Solstice will depart Sydney this evening on a 19 night Tahitian Treasures Cruise visiting Moorea, Papeete, Bora Bora Lahaina and Honolulu, before sailing Alaska from May to September.

Celebrity Solstice will return downunder for her 8th season in October 2019.

In 2020/21, Celebrity Solstice will be joined by younger twin sister, Celebrity Eclipse, sailing from Melbourne and marking the very first time Celebrity Cruises will home port from Victoria.
