Michelin Star chef and international restaurateur, Curtis Stone, was announced today as the headline for this year’s Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show, presented by Citi on Friday, 25 October 2019.

Stone will take to the Brisbane stage in the Princess Cruises Theatre presented by ILVE with two live demonstrations, ‘Seasonality’ and ‘Fresh Pasta’ at 10:00am and 4:00pm. Cooking popular dishes from his SHARE restaurant menu onboard Princess Cruises Australian-based ships.
Seasonality will harness produce currently in trend during this time of year, specifically asparagus, radishes and kanpachi as part of his fish butchery. From dough to plate, the Fresh Pasta demonstration will highlight simple step-by-step techniques to make home made ravioli and cavatelli in just 15-minutes.
Sponsor of the Good Food & Wine Show, Princess Cruises, has been in partnership with Curtis for almost five years. Stone says he is excited to create a unique culinary experience for Brisbane visitors in the 500-capacity theatre at the show.
“So much of my food ethos comes from my Australian upbringing, so it means a lot to me to be back on home soil, using locally sourced ingredients and demonstrating some basic skills everyone can do at home with their loved ones,” Stone said.
The New York Times bestselling author is returning to Australia to celebrate the maiden arrival of Princess Cruises’ Ruby Princess, who will be homeported in Australian waters this summer cruise season.
Chef Stone will debut the anticipated three-day weekend, ahead of fellow culinary masters, Matt Moran, Matt Sinclair, Matt Golinski and everyone’s favourite Spanish chef Miguel Maestre, whose ‘The Greatest Show’ cooking demonstration is a not to be missed showstopper. While chef Alastair McLeod is back as host of these live cooking demonstrations.
Landing in Brisbane on Friday 25th – Sunday 27th October after three successful shows in Melbourne. Sydney, and Perth, the Good Food & Wine Show offers visitors a chance to be immersed in a sensory journey across 180 producers including more than 500 wines, 20 distilleries and over 30 types of cheese.
