Avis Budget Group has been awarded Best Car Rental Company at the 30th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2019 for the second year in a row, as voted for by readers of TTG Travel Trade Publishing’s print and online titles. The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in Bangkok last night.
Avis Budget Group came out on top for having the best products, services, facilities and being consistently innovative in its approach. It was also recognised for being the most consistent and the most reliable in the delivery of their services. The Group, which includes brands such as Avis, Budget and Zipcar, was praised for being the most agent-friendly in terms of ease of booking, commissions, incentives and servicing, as well as having the best agency-outreach programmes, including trade promotions, training and relationship-building.

Avis Budget Group recently announced the launch of Beep, its one-stop-portal for travel trade professionals, in five Asian languages including Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai. The portal was officially launched in English in Asia last year to provide a car rental one-stop shop bringing both Avis and Budget brands together on one platform.
TTG is a large media outlet owning seven publications including TTG Asia and TTGmice with a varied readership ranging from tour operators, travel consultants, and destination management company personnel.
