Australia’s leader in charter aircraft solutions, AVMIN, has launched trailblazing technology – set to revolutionise the private charter industry.
Together with JetBidders, AVMIN has set its sights on resolving the future for travellers, with a new charter request and bid management platform.
Fast-tracked in response to the rising need for charter flight services, which has experienced a 200% increase in demand compared with pre-covid times, the new JetBidders’ site streamlines the booking process for a more convenient means of connectivity. The new platform enables consumers to make charter enquiries, compare costs and manage requests faster and easier.
AVMIN Managing Director Paul O’Brien, said that while the private charter industry continues to experience growth post-pandemic, technology ease-of-use for both consumers and aircraft operators was paramount.
“With the increase in charter flights across all sectors we support, we wanted to streamline the charter request and bid management process while broadening the reach of requests visible to aircraft owners and operators globally,” O’Brien said.
“The new JetBidders’ platform allows people to source the right aircraft for their specific needs far more easily. Clients can enter in the details of where they need to go, number of passengers, reasons for flying and then every aircraft owner who sits in that category can bid on the job within seconds.”

The Brisbane-based air charter specialist, which has been operating for more than 12 years, said the most recent snap lockdown in Greater Brisbane also saw a surge in booking requests from sporting groups including the NRL as well as mining and government clients.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, AVMIN has cemented its reputation by offering an unrivalled range of global charter flight and logistics’ solutions, bridging the significant gap left from shutdowns in the commercial aviation network.
“During the height of the coronavirus pandemic our charter flight numbers surged due to the increasing number of contracts we were fulfilling to fly nurses, doctors and other health workers as well as police and patients around the country,” O’Brien said.
Offering the only charter concierge service in Australia, the company has coordinated transportation of medical supplies, facilitated flights for the NRL during the 2020 season and flew more than 100 surfers from Los Angeles to Sydney for the World Surf League Series. AVMIN also has managed the itineraries for an influx of high-profile names for television and film projects for the booming local entertainment sector.
“With limited commercial flights available and private charter alternatives medically safer for groups in terms of socially distancing during the flight as well as boarding and disembarking via private channels, we have ensured organisations could continue to operate,” O’Brien said. “Additionally, we’re supporting the Australian mining, medical, sports and government sectors, which are heavily relying on our charter services.
