Spread the love

At Awesome Adventures Fiji, the well being of our customers and staff is our top priority. As of today, Fiji does not have any confirmed cases of the COVID-19.

We are working closely with the Fijian Government and other tourism organisations both in Fiji and globally, in order to ensure we have adopted best practice when dealing with the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

We are continuing to monitor the situation and will update further as and when new information is available but here are some things we are doing to ensure that we are protecting both our customers and our crew:

Thorough Cleaning of our Vessels
Over and above the daily top to toe cleaning that we already do, we are taking extra steps to sanitize all our vessels.  We apply a PH neutral cleaner to all surfaces followed by an additional sanitising product for an extra level of hygiene.

Personal Hygiene
Hand washing and sanitising is hailed as the single most important thing anyone can do to protect themselves from this virus and others similar to it. Multiple hand sanitising stations and new bold hand washing signs have been installed on all vessels and at our check-in counter for all our customers and crew to use.

Cancellations and Amendments
We understand that your customers plans may need to change as a result of COVID-19. We have introduced a relaxation on our cancellation and amendment policy:

  • Any guests who already hold a confirmed booking for travel for the remainder of 2020 can choose to postpone their Awesome Adventures booking for travel up until 31 March 2021.  Date change is available at any time up until 7 days prior to the original start date without incurring any cancellation or amendment fees. Any date changes will of course be confirmed subject to availability.
  • In addition, any client who wishes to make a new booking between now and the 30th of April 2020 for the remainder of 2020 will also be able to postpone their trip up to 7 days prior to arrival of the original booking without incurring any cancellation or amendment fees. They too will be able to defer their travel until 31 March 2021 subject to availability.

Medical Certificates
Some countries are now requiring a Medical Certificate to be issued within the last 5 days prior to entry. For any guests departing from Fiji that need one to be issued, Zen Medical Clinics in both Denarau and Namaka can do this for them.  They have a walk-in appointment policy (however best to call ahead to ensure a Doctor is in the clinic as they are on call for emergencies).  Contact details to pass to your customers are as follows:  Denarau +679 6750211 or Namaka +679 6722288).

We wish to reiterate that Fiji and Awesome Adventures Fiji are very much open for business and we look forward to welcoming your customers soon.
