Ayana Honors “Year Of The Dog” This Chinese New Year

January 11, 2018 Resort News No Comments Email Email
AYANA and RIMBA invite guests to ring in the ‘Year of the Dog’ from 15 to 16 February with a partnership of exquisite menus and spectacular performances during a harmonious Chinese New Year from start to finish.

The resort’s celebrations begin on Thursday 15 February with Rock Bar, BALI’s standout Red Party! Follow the rubicund lanterns for an evening that intertwines the age-old tradition of a Barong Sai Parade, with modern day DJ sessions, live entertainment, and fireworks – all from the glamourous landscape of Rock Bar, BALI.
Nestled within the impressive grounds of RIMBA Jimbaran BALI by AYANA, Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant is just one of the venues headlining this year’s foodie events. Their good fortune Set Menu and Lion Dance performance promise a conversation-starting experience.  Served from 15 to 16 February, Ah Yat’s set menu is about reinvention and creativity together with tradition and much-loved ingredients. From our chefs’ Roasted Suckling Pig Combination and Stewed South African Fresh Abalone to Steamed Garoupa – Hong Kong Style and Pan-fried King Prawns, there are plenty of delicious options for guests to talk about. Ah Yat Abalones’ not-to-be-missed ‘limited’ celebratory menu will also be featured from 10 February until 2 March.
On 15, 17 and 19 February, Kampoeng Bali will also be serving up a blend of traditional performances and a mixture of the finest Balinese and Chinese cuisine. From babi guling and grilled seafood to Ah Yat’s famous dim sum.
On 15 February at sister resort, AYANA Resort and Spa, BALI, Padi Restaurant will display a colorful Asian Spice Buffet that reflects the warmth of Asian hospitality. Driven by bountiful flavors from across the archipelago, guests will truly be spoiled for choice. The culturally rich evening will also include a live performance from Balinese rindik musicians and a Legong Dance.
