Following temporary closure caused by the COVID-19 outbreak Pathumwan Princess Hotel is delighted to be fully re-opening from Saturday 18th July 2020, with “new normal” operating procedures in place to ensure returning guests have a safe and comfortable stay. The Hotel has recently received Thailand’s new Safety & Health Administration (SHA) certificate, awarded to hotels demonstrating commitment to the highest standards of sanitation, hygiene and safety – testimony to the efforts of the hotel’s associates in implementing the new protocols.

During the closure the Hotel has been busy with its exciting room renovation project, now approaching its final stages and including two brand new categories, Deluxe Classic and Grand Deluxe. Setting new levels in comfortable luxury, rooms and suites are tastefully decorated in a calming, modern decor with fine, elegant furnishings. All are designed for today with “finger-tip” functionality, automated lighting and environmentally-friendly Stiebel Eltron™ filtered drinking water dispensers, to mention just a few of the new features that will delight guests. The newly renovated rooms and suites are located between the 15th and 29th floors of the hotel, most commanding glorious views of Bangkok’s memorable skyline.

The Olympic Club, on the Hotel’s 8th Floor, offers a wide and varied range of workout stations and exercise classes, as well as rooftop tennis, squash and badminton courts, a Skyline jogging track, a full-size Muay Thai boxing ring and a 25-meter (half-olympic sized) saltwater swimming pool.

High quality dining options are to be found at Pathumwan Princess, with 8 restaurants and bars offering Asian and western menus prepared by master chefs and graciously served with genuine Thai smiles. Returning guests will be pleasantly surprised and captivated by new menus and presentations that have been created during the closure.

Pathumwan Princess thrives at one of the best and most convenient locations in vibrant, cosmopolitan Bangkok; connected to the renowned MBK Shopping Center, a short stroll by “skywalk” to Siam, the city’s biggest shopping complex, and just minutes from the iconic “skytrain” that whisks visitors to Bangkok’s many attractions in air-conditioned comfort.

The Hotel’s superb location is matched by excellent meetings and events facilities, offering numerous indoor rooms, including the impressive, recently renovated Jamjuree Rooms with daylight foyer and skyline views, as well as attractive, spacious outdoor areas on the 8th Floor.

General Manager, Stefan Heintze, said: “We are thrilled to be re-opening our wonderful hotel and I must thank all our associates here who have worked so hard to make this possible. We are now really looking forward to welcoming guests back to the hotel, confident that our superb location, the comfortable luxury of our new rooms and the tempting new restaurant menus will delight all who visit us here”.
