Excitement is building up as preparations are under way for the Bass Lake chip-timed 5K Poker Run (ages 13+), Go Fish Run (kids 12 and under) and the ninth annual Bass Lake Yosemite Triathlon. Smoky Bear will be starting the 5k Poker Run and Go Fish Run using its paw to countdown. Bass Lake is located in the Sierra National Forest about 20 minutes south of Yosemite National Park, and creates a picturesque run rivaled by few. 100% of all 5k Poker Run proceeds go to local youth charities.
There is an exciting twist to the 5k Poker run. Participants collect 5 playing cards along the 3 mile run course and try to make the best 5 card POKER hand. Go Fish participants will try to get the best matching hand for ages 12 and under.
5K Best Hand Poker & Go Fish Prizes will consist of lodging, dining, and gifts from local Bass Lake area merchants.
RACE ENTRY
Online entry has closed for the 5k Poker Run and Go Fish Run but you can still register on race morning before 7:30a.m. or during packet pickup in the Pines Village on Friday, May 31st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registration is still open online for the Triathlon.
Adults $25 (before 5/25 and $35 at race)
Children (5-15
years) with paid Adult only $15 (before 5/25 and $20 at race)

CHIP TIMING
The Bass Lake Yosemite Triathlon is a chip timed race. The chip is a tiny transmitter attached to your shoe. When you cross the finish line the chip transmits a signal to a antenna in the blue carpet. The antenna picks up the signal and sends it to our timing computers for processing.
