Beware of childish passengers and screaming infants

February 16, 2018 Headline News No Comments Email Email

Two recent examples of infants travelling on flights stand in stark contrast, with an angry adult passenger behaving like a child in one case, while in another, hapless travellers on a long-haul transatlantic flight were subjected to eight hours of maniacal screaming by a three-year-old, as a video loudly shows.

In the first incident, a female passenger kicked up fuss about having to sit next to a baby – and she got so irate about it that the airline kicked her off the flight.

Young mother Marissa Rundell, 19, was travelling with her eight-month-old son Mason when the woman seated next to her started complaining bitterly about having to sit next to them.

A flight attendant tried to calm the situation but the angry passenger threatened to have the Delta flight attendant fired unless she was moved to sit elsewhere.

Rundell says that before takeoff on a short domestic flight within New York state, the furious passenger “slammed” down her bags and called the seating arrangement “f***ing ridiculous”.

According to Rundell, the woman continued to gripe about not wanting to sit next to a “crying baby” even though Mason wasn’t crying at all or creating the slightest fuss.

“She came to the back and slammed her bags down,” Rundell told the Daily Mail. “She said ‘this is f****** ridiculous. It’s bulls*** having to sit in the back of the plane’.”

“I said please watch your language she told me to shut the f*** up and shove it,” Rundell added.

Finally, when the irate woman threatened to have the attendant fired, that was it. The attendant had enough, and told the angry woman she would be removed from the flight.

“I thought it was funny how she was acting like a child throwing a tantrum,” the young mother commented.

It’s totally different when a child actually does throw a tantrum and screams continually.

Footage has emerged of a child screeching and screaming on and off for almost the entire duration of a Lufthansa transatlantic flight from Germany to Newark, New Jersey. That’s a nerve-shattering nine hours.

Determined to record the dreadful scenes for posterity, a passenger filmed the child clambering over the top of seats and screaming in “demonic” fashion as the hours wore on.

The flight must have been a nightmare; it’s almost unbearable to watch.

Imagine trying to sleep!

“Call an exorcist!” one viewer advised.

The screaming started before the plane had even taken off. You can see passengers wincing and covering their ears with their hands as the unruly child, aged about three, runs up and down the aisles screaming and shrieking as loud as possible.

As Britain’s Daily Mirror pointed out, even noise cancelling headphones would be useless against this.
