Blue Zebra Island Lodge, a luxury beach lodge perched on the edge of Nankoma Island, are pleased to present a brand new promotional video. The team at Blue Zebra are also passionate about greenifying their lodge and huge steps are being taken now to make this happen. They are well on their way to going fully solar – a major step for the lodge in going greener, reducing diesel usage. Blue Zebra are already off the grid, but they previously ran on a generator for 8 hours a day. Their solar installation was set to be completed by May 2020. This has been slightly delayed but they have completed the foundation and are installing panels and hope to run off solar power very soon.
You may notice in the video that Blue Zebra offerings stunning scenic views of Lake Malawi with their infinity pool and private beach. They are now adding to their offerings by constructing a brand new spa by a beautiful old fig tree with calming views over the lake.
