Brand New Sailings For Ovation Of The Seas Announced

January 29, 2018 Cruise No Comments Email Email

Royal Caribbean has announced the extension of Ovation of the Seas’ third season down under due to the incredible demand for the ship. With the release of two new local sailings in March and April 2019, the extension makes 2018/19 the biggest season yet for Australia’s largest, newest and most modern megaliner.

Before making her way to Alaska via Hawaii for her maiden season in the region, the ground-breaking Ovation of the Seas will sail two additional local sailings to the South Pacific and New Zealand, offering Australians even more opportunities to sample the USD$1 billion cruise ship. Ovation of the Seas will then sail a 16 night Trans-Pacific cruise to Hawaii.

Guests who have New Zealand on their bucket list can book a brand new 10-night New Zealand roundtrip departing Sydney on 30 March 2019, calling at Dunedin, Wellington, Napier and Picton, with a day of scenic cruising through Milford, Doubtful and Dusky Sounds. Fares start from AUD$1,729 per person, twin share in an Interior stateroom, including up to 45 percent savings as part of Royal Caribbean’s huge “Seek and Save” summer sale – the line’s biggest sale of the year.

Also new is an 8-night South Pacific roundtrip, departing Sydney on 9 April 2019 and visiting Noumea in New Caledonia and Mystery Island in Vanuatu. Fares start from AUD$1,679 per person, twin share in an Interior Stateroom, including up to 45 percent savings as part of Royal Caribbean’s “Seek and Save” sale.

Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas brings incredible first-at-sea experiences to Australia, including Ripcord by iFLY, a heart-pounding skydiving experience; the North Star glass viewing pod, a stunning new way to see the world from 90 metres above sea level; and 18 restaurants, including Jamie’s Italian.

The megaliner features cutting-edge venues that change from day to night, including SeaPlex, the largest indoor sports and entertainment complex at sea with bumper cars, roller skating rink and circus school; Two70, an immersive, multimedia entertainment venue complete with dancing Roboscreens; and the robotic Bionic Bar, where robots stir and shake your drinks.
