With online communication and virtual meetings now more important than ever, Tahiti Tourisme has launched its Tahiti Comes To You Webinar Series, as part of its latest efforts to inspire and educate travel agents in Australia.

From specific islands to activities, the four-part webinar series will cover a range of topics and act as a reminder of the variety of experiences the unique destination offers. Agents can expect insider’s tips and expert advice from a variety of panelists joining directly from The Islands of Tahiti.

Launching on Tuesday 26 May, the first webinar will focus on the rich and diverse Islands of Tahiti and Moorea. Kicking off the series with guest speakers, advice on the must-do experiences, as well as recommendations on accommodation and activities, this webinar will ignite imaginations about what’s waiting for guests once travel restrictions lift.

The second webinar will highlight the awe-inspiring experience of approaching The Islands by water. Cruises are a fantastic way to see the dynamic scenery, experience the culture, and enjoy the delicious food on offer. By visiting several of The Islands, cruises offer a holiday like no other and this webinar will explain the variety of cruise experiences available.

While Bora Bora is the most well known island, there are hidden gems and local secrets that many visitors may miss. With its bright blue lagoon, lush green slopes and Mount Otemanu watching over the stunning sandy beaches, there is an abundance of activities for guests. However, on this third webinar viewers will hear from local Bianca Henry, Director of Sales at the St Regis Bora Bora, who will share some of her favourite locations and activities around the island.

Last and by no means least, the fourth webinar will take a deep dive into the aquatic playground of the Pacific Ocean. Discover the some of the best diving and snorkeling spots, and learn about manta rays, sharks, whales and sea turtles that make up just a small part of the marine life surrounding The Islands of Tahiti.

The Tahiti Comes To You Webinar Series will be rolled out in conjunction with the tourism board’s Sunnier Days Ahead campaign, which encourages travel enthusiasts to look ahead to brighter days post-COVID-19.
