Home to the Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada has officially launched their season opening, with Lake Louise Ski Resort and Mt. Norquay collectively being the first ski resorts in Canada to open for skiing seven days of the week.

The final resort that makes up the tri-area collection in the park, Banff Sunshine Village is also set to open on November 8th.  With a week of cool temps and an early start to winter snowfall in the mountains, these three resorts known as SkiBig3 are experiencing a fantastic beginning to the 2019/20 ski season.

SkiBig3 boasts 8,000 acres of skiing, 2 gondolas, 26 chairlifts and 30 feet of feather-light, dry Canadian Rockies powder annually. And with the longest non-glacial ski season in North America, snow-seekers can enjoy 7 months of excellent skiing, from early November until late May. SkiBig3 is a destination partner resort for both the Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective.
