As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, Carnival Cruise Line has made the decision to take the preventative measure of extending its voluntary suspension of all Australian sailings, with a plan to resume operations on 15 May 2020. The decision has been made after discussions with the Australian government and in support of management and containment efforts for the region.

Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy stated, “The impact of COVID-19 is affecting business and personal routines around the world. We understand it is not ideal to have your cruise holiday postponed; however, we all have a role to play in stopping the spread of this virus during this unprecedented time. We will get through these tough times together and look forward to welcoming our guests back onboard again soon, when the time is right.”

Carnival Cruise Line is making contact with guests and travel agents who are impacted by the extended suspension period and is offering flexible options for all those affected.
