The ASTW Board would like to advise that Elisa Elwin has officially resigned from the ASTW Board effective 30 March 2021.

We thank Elisa for serving as ASTW President for the last 12 months, during a time of uncertainty and upheaval in both the travel and tourism industries. Elisa has chosen to step down after a year of volunteering during one of the most turbulent periods of the industry’s history to focus on her own business. The ASTW Board wishes her the very best for the future.

The Board has elected Caroline Gladstone as the new president. An ASTW member since 1999, Caroline brings with her a wealth of experience and dedication to the Society.

“I extend my deepest gratitude to Elisa for her work and commitment during a very challenging period – she leaves big shoes to fill!” says Caroline. “I’m honoured to step into the role of President and delighted to be working with such a friendly, enthusiastic Board.”

The ASTW Board anticipates a successful year ahead, with many opportunities for members to network and connect at state lunches and the 2021 ASTW Convention, set for 14 – 16 October 2021, hosted by The Tweed in New South Wales.
